Talkshoe User Tip #1

Many minor issues such as not being able to load the Web Client can be alleviated by clearing your cache and cookies on your browser, and then restarting your browser. You should clear your cache and cookies from time to time. However, especially if you are having an issue with something on TalkShoe, you should try clearing your cache and cookies to see if that fixes the problem first.
For Firefox users:
1. Click on “Tools” at the top of the browser window
2. Select “Clear Recent History” from the dropdown menu
3. Select “Everything” from the drop down list
4. Click the down arrow next to “Details”
5. Put a check mark next to “Cache” and “Cookies”
6. Click on the “Clear Now” button
For Internet Explorer users:
1. Click on “Tools”
2. Select “Internet Options” from the dropdown menu
3. Click on the “Delete” button in the section for Browsing History
4. Click the buttons to “Delete files…” and “Delete cookies…” or click on the “Delete all” button
5. Click “Yes” in the confirmation dialog box
For Safari Users: (For best results with the web client, log into TalkShoe first)
1. From the Safari menu, click Reset Safari
2. Select “Empty the cache” and “Delete all cookies”
3. Click “Reset”
For Opera Users: (Please note that TalkShoe does not support Opera on the Web Client)
1. From the Tools Menu Select delete private data
2. Click Details
3. Click Delete
